Delete Your Gridlock Account
You can request deletion of your Gridlock account and its associated data at any time, whether you signed up with email, Google Sign-In, or are playing as a guest.
How to request deletion
Email us with the subject line "Delete my Gridlock account", and include:
- The username shown on your profile.
- The email address on your account, if you have one (skip this for a guest account).
- Roughly when you last played, so we can find the right account.
Deletion requests are currently handled manually and are completed within 30 days. Once processed, this cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email, username, hashed password, or linked Google identity).
- Your profile, rating, and rank.
- Analytics events tied to your account.
What's retained
Match records that involve another player (their opponent's own match history) are kept, but your account is de-identified from them — the opponent's history no longer shows anything that identifies you personally. This is so deleting your account doesn't erase or corrupt someone else's own match history.
